How far will the band
travel? |

The Big Funk will
travel anywhere in mainland UK (or to any tropical island!). |

Will I need to book
a DJay as well as the band? |

The choice is yours! The
Big Funk can be booked independently, but professionally
mixed CDs for between sets can be provided on request
when you book. Alternatively we can bring good DJ’s
(subject to availability). These are carefully selected
by The Big Funk.

How long do you play
for? |
 |
Depending on the function,
The Big Funk can play anything from a single 45 minute
set, up to a full 2 hours. The set times and number
of sets are up to you. We also offer different types
of sets. Laid back background or up front dance for
different parts of your day. You can also make your
own selections from the set list.

How much do you charge? |
 |
Pricing varies according
to venue size, distance to travel, set-up and finish
times and the nature of the function. Please email or
call for a personal quote.

Will I need to pay a deposit? |
 |
The Big Funk usually ask
for a small deposit of 20% of the band fee upon signing
of the booking contract. If it is a very large venue
and additional PA equipment is required, the hirers
may also require a deposit in case of cancellation. |

Do you supply all your own
equipment? |
 |
Yes! The Big Funk will supply
a PA and an intelligent lighting system. For larger
events The Big Funk hire additional sound and lighting.
This can be discussed and agreed with you beforehand
and then arranged by The Big Funk. |

Do you have any specific
requirements? |
 |
A changing area would be
handy, but not the end of the World if not possible.
A stage/setting up area of roughly 20 x 10 feet with
adequate power supply (a minimum of 4 sockets). Light
refreshments would be gratefully received. |
